The absolutely stunning Chichester Harbour and environs provide for many varied leisure activities. In addition, the area is also famed for the many independent local hostelries! Cycling paths are to be found throughout the peninsular, and the local Salterns Way cycling route, runs through An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The Chichester Gate complex includes a cinema, and a bowling centre; and the nearby Westgate Leisure Centre includes a swimming pool. Whilst on your holiday,, you may wish to journey further afield. The harbour town of Portsmouth provides for day trips to The Isle of Wight, and France. Local attractions are many and varied, and with widespread appeal. Whatever the interests, or leisure requirements, West Sussex can satisfy them all, for all age groups. Briar Cottage Caravan Park is located to the South of Chichester, in West Sussex. Briar Cottage is easily accessible, and the South Downs area can be reached via a number of main ‘A’ roads.

The nearby town of Chichester has excellent rail, coach, and bus networks. In addition, the Portsmouth ferry terminal, and the airports of Southampton and Gatwick are within driving distance.
